FoodeQ is well-known for its shakers and we are proud of that, but we do so much more. Especially on the field of steaming and cooling we have realised some impressive projects in recent years. For the fresh food sector we designed a system to tread the products with steam (blanching) and cool it back again very hygienically.
The FoodeQ belt steamer consists of a conveyor system, a steam system and a control system. The products to be treated are fed to – and through – the cooking zone by means of the conveyor belt. A blanket of steam under the cover assures that the product is covered with steam completely. This way the product is being heated and the (high) temperature disinfects the product. The integrated conveyor belt for the steamer and cooling tunnel takes care for a smooth product transfer – without any contamination – in a high care zone. Of course we also provide the conveyor systems for the transportation of the products to the weighers and the packaging department. There is hardly any product residue in the shaker bed because we make use of our smart designed shakers. This makes these blanchers the most hygienic of its kind.
