Sharing knowledge is of course not limited to this one day in spring, but on the FoodeQ Informall Friday we make time and space to share with the entire FoodeQ team where we stand and where we are going. If you are working on many different projects at the same time, it can happen that – for example due to a business trip abroad – you miss the great project your colleagues have been working on. On 13 May, everyone was at the office. After coffee and cake and a delicious lunch at the Taste Culinair food truck in the car park, the afternoon programme consisted of various presentations on completed and current projects and new products. Piet Oostdijk and Hans Vermeeren gave a duo presentation on FoodeQ Processing and zoomed in on the ins and outs of the steamers, blanchers and freezing tunnels developed there. Jonne Moerland presented his graduation thesis on the growth opportunities of FoodeQ (Processing) and Marinus discussed the budget, order book and plans in India. Enough inspiring food for thought. Of course, the day ended with a drink, because networking with your own colleagues is part of the job.
