SPREADING
FOODEQ HEXFEEDER PRO
The unique FoodeQ HexFeeder Pro is particularly suitable for the quick spreading of bulb-shaped and tuberous products. We design this compact spreading systems exactly according to our customers’ requirements and wishes. In comparison to the traditional vibrators that we generally use for spreading, the HexFeeder Pro requires less length so it is a perfect alternative when limited space is an issue.
The hexagonal conveyor rollers have a spreading and a cleaning function, as the fixated spacing separates moisture, leaves, soil and dirt from the product. This way the HexFeeder Pro offers an extra cleaning step and it feeds the rest of the production line consisting of (optical) sorters and/or other food processing equipment.
The HexFeeder Pro is driven by two heavy duty toothed belts in combination with a gear-motor. Smart engineering ensures that the system has a great uptime performance. The hexagonal conveyor rolls have no hinder of small stones, grit and other contamination because the system sorts these parts out itself and this way the continuity of the production flow is guaranteed.
