Time flies when you’re doing well, and that certainly applies to our interns Daniël and Frank. Of the 20 weeks they are interning at FoodeQ, the first 14 have already been completed! No wonder, because in addition to working on their challenging internship assignments and school obligations, they also get the chance to go to the factory for maintenance work every now and then.
Daniel and Frank met the FoodeQ team during the “Kijk binnen bij bedrijven” in February 2024. It clicked right away. “There was a comfortable atmosphere at FoodeQ, not as stiff and formal as you sometimes see,” says Frank. He wanted to try something new with his internship and that’s how he ended up in the fascinating world of vibration technology. Daniel also felt right at home. “The relaxed atmosphere at the fair was one of the decisive reasons for me to choose FoodeQ. And you will also find that atmosphere in the office. Everyone works hard here, but in a pleasant and informal way. That is really one of the best things about FoodeQ.”
At the start of their internship, Daniel and Frank were given the choice of two challenging mechanical engineering internship assignments. Each of them chose the assignment that best matched their interests and ambitions. Daniel has now ordered the parts for his test and can’t wait to start testing in the workshop. “I am very curious about the results,” he says enthusiastically. Frank, on the other hand, has thrown himself into a research project that he will conclude with an extensive report. Although there is no time during the internship to put his results into practice, he is laying a solid foundation that FoodeQ can continue to build on in the future.
With their technical skills, fresh insights and inquisitive attitude, Daniel and Frank not only contribute to the success of FoodeQ, but they are also developing themselves fully. The relaxed and supportive work environment allows them to really flourish. We are proud to have them on board and look forward to the coming weeks as they complete their projects.
Thanks Daniel and Frank for your dedication and enthusiasm!
