COMMISSIONING IS A SPECIALIZED FIELD REQUIRING A DEDICATED SPECIALIST

However, since our projects are becoming increasingly large, especially in processing, we want to expand our team with a dedicated commissioning engineer. The number of projects has increased significantly over the past three years and we’re ready for the next step,” explains Jaco van der Jagt.

“In the past, I regularly handled commissioning myself, just like our engineers do now, but at some point it becomes challenging to combine that with other responsibilities. Particularly in processing, it requires significantly more time. Integrating a spiral freezer into a line or delivering an entire line isn’t just about setting it up, plugging it in and turning it on. It requires a big-picture perspective; everything must fit together seamlessly. You handle the fine-tuning and take care of documentation, training for users and operators etc. If it involves an international delivery, you might find yourself traveling for weeks.”
