The labour market is pretty strained, but at FoodeQ we manage to pick out the gems in the personnel field time and again. This does not happen automatically, of course. Because we offer traineeships every year, we manage to attract the attention of young talent and they know where to find us after graduation. For instance, Maikel van Eekelen – yes, he too had an internship with us before – recently joined us on a permanent basis after completing his studies in mechanical engineering. Thomas Verdonck has yet to complete his studies, but he still has time to spare, so what do you do? He combines studying full-time with working on projects at FoodeQ and Sander Bogers is doing an internship with us until February. Are we only fishing in Avans’ pond? No way, Ilse Zuijkerbuijk has a Rabobank background. With 20 years of experience in communications, she and Iris van Dijke will put FoodeQ in the spotlight even better and more often as extra office manager. Do we have any more vacancies to fill?
